Rhodes community Garden is now open for all its members in a COVIDSafe manner. We urge everyone staying in and near Rhodes to join us and grow the garden.


Meetings

Planning Meetings

Members and the Comittee meet at the garden, just before starting each working bee.

All members are invited to this meeting.

Annual General Meeting

An Annual General Meeting is held once per year in September. All members are invited to the AGM to hear about the past year and future plans for the garden.

A meeting invite will be shared with all the members before the meeting via an email.


Working Bee

Our group meets up twice per month to work cooperatively in the garden. The working bees are held on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month for one hour (starting at 09 AM during the hotter season or 10 AM during cooler season).

Working bees involve:

  • Planning Meeting

  • Planting new crops

  • Managing Weeds

  • Harvesting produce

  • Tending to compost bins

  • Sharing gardening tips

  • Having fun!
