Rhodes Community Garden is open for all its members to share in a cooperative manner. We urge everyone living in and near Rhodes to join us and grow our garden.
Group Gardening
Group Gardening
Our group meets up weekly to work cooperatively in the garden. The Group Gardening sessions are held every Sunday for one hour starting at 09:00 am during the hotter season and 10:00 am during cooler seasons.
Group Gardening sessions involve:
Agreeing the activities for the session
Planting new crops
Removing weeds from crop beds
Harvesting produce
Tending to compost bins
Extra watering if required
Sharing gardening tips
Having fun!

Planning Meetings
The Committee meet several time per year at the garden, at the start of a Group Gardening session.
All members are invited to observe this meeting.
Annual General Meeting
Annual General Meeting
An Annual General Meeting is held once per year in September. All members are invited to the AGM to hear about the past year and future plans for the garden.
A meeting invitation will be shared with all the members before the AGM via an email.
