How the garden works

All of our garden beds are communal beds that we work on together to grow, harvest and share produce.

Managing the garden is an association responsibility as we operate under a license from City of Canada Bay Council. 

We encourage all members to suggest new crops to be grown, participate in working together and to contribute to this wonderful garden. 

Here's What you Get : 

• Learn, share & grow alongside friendly locals

• Share in homegrown seasonal produce

• Member Area Access (after induction period)

• Priority Access to Workshops and Social events

What's Expected : 

• Participation in a minimum of 3 Group Gardening Sessions per Season (About 1 per month)

• Fair and responsible harvesting for all members

How much does it cost?

As a non-profit organisation, our membership fees directly fund garden upkeep—from tools and insurance to soil, seedlings, and essential growing materials. We offer flexible options to make our community accessible to everyone:

• Individual Annual Membership (pro-rata rates available whenever you join during the year)

• Family & Householder Memberships (discounted rate for people living at the same address)

• Active Member Discount (a reduced rate applied in the following year for members who regularly participate in group gardening sessions)

• Children (Under 12): Free when accompanied by a paying parent
